A friend from aquafit asked if I had ever seen this little lighthouse, off the south end of Denman Island between Vancouver Island and the mainland of BC. After getting a photo from my sister-in-law, who conveniently happened to live on Denman, I realized what a charming little island this was! Steep cliffs and all those little cottages to paint!

The first painting I did sold the first time I showed it (2 days later!) before I even had time for a photo of it! So I did another. This one will likely make my 2013 calendar and I may make cards or magnets from it as well.
