I'm not sure if I'm catching up with something or something's catching up with me, or you, for that matter! September has been a busy month and I've been painting more regularly, as well as ordering lots of items for my next sale. And my 2011 calendars are here, all 200 of them! Email or call me if you want one or more, they're again $12, or special deal 10 for $100. I've also got some fridge magnets ($3), of both the mermaid and the lone tulip, and there are more coming. I've also got "Reaching for a Star" reproduced onto a small card (4"X6"), and "How Many Fairies" as well. How Many Fairies?

The inside of the mermaid card reads 'We're all reaching for a star in our own way" and inside the sunflower it says "Have you been counting all the fairies?" With envelopes they cost $2.50.

And I have some "Reaching for a Star" journal books printed as well, for $8.

Along with all these things came a t-shirt, a banner for my shows, and a few other assorted odds and ends so I think I've done very well with transforming my art onto usable and practical items that people can enjoy.

On another painting note, the transformation of our ensuite bathroom from a vintage 70s lavender-colour base to natural, slate, granite, and vessel sink (that's the term for one of those sinks that sits, like a bowl, on top of the counter) continues and while hubby is away hunting for the next 2 weeks I'm committed to getting the light lavender-tinted walls painted a sunny yellow colour, and finishing off the backsplash with tile.

No rest for the wicked! Stay tuned and enjoy the last bits of warm sunshine before winter really hits!

I'm "away with the fairies" for a while, painting up a storm!
