Rosebud is a little town on the Mornington Peninsula south of Melbourne, where my cousins camped every summer (ie, Christmas in Australia). I was there with them and it had been a cloudy day, then in the late evening the sun burst out underneath the clouds. The light was fantastic--golden and everything looked so clear. I wear glasses and I swear I could see clearly without them, it was amazing!

This image was on my first business card and that's not the only reason I remember it so well! I'm painting a bigger one--1/2 sheet, 15" X 22". I'll let you know when it's finished!
